Great Meadows Morris and Sword was founded in 2002. Below is a year-by-year history.
1999-2000
- What was to become Great Meadows Morris and Sword started performing under the names “Team X” and “Velocirapper”
2000-2001
- Candyrapper began.
2001-2002
- During the summer of 2002, Team X and Candyrapper became incorporated under Great Meadows Morris and Sword.
2002-2003

2009-2010
- The Rapper Team Rapport D’or was started by Maggie Klureza, Alice Fristrom, Ross Gerhard, Evan Sobkowicz, and Jacob Henderson.
Rapport D’or at NEFFA 2010
- Candyrapper and Pocket Flyers attended DERT in England.
2010-2011
- Great Meadows helped in organizing the first ever Dancing America Rapper Tournament (DART). Candyrapper and Pocket Flyers competed in the tournament.
2011-2012
- Candyrapper, Pocket Flyers, Rapport D’Or, and SnickerSnack performed at various events including NEFFA, The Ginger Ale, and the Marlboro Morris Ale.
- SnickerSnack stopped dancing together as part of GMMS at the end of the 2012 season.
2012-2013
